Mates of State working on new LP, touring in December (dates)

Mates of State, who have called Connecticut home for about five years, are currently working on the follow-up to 2011’s Mountaintops, but will take a break from the studio to play a short East Coast tour in December. That trek includes a stop at Mercury Lounge on December 6 for both an early and a late show, and then they’ll also play Maxwell’s on December 16. Tickets for the Mercury Lounge shows go on AmEx presale today (10/17)at noon with a regular on-sale on Friday (10/19) at noon. Tickets to the Maxwell’s show go on sale Friday at noon.
