The excellent Rumpshaker! fanzine will be the focus of a reading this coming weekend, when publisher Eric Weiss appears at vegan shoe store Moo Shoes (78 Orchard Street, NYC) on Sunday, October 14 at 2 PM. He'll read from and bring along copies of the sixth edition of the storied zine as well, which contains interviews with Mike Judge (of Judge, not Office Space), Damien of Fucked Up, Ross of Ceremony, Chuck D of Public Enemy, Limp Wrist, Walter Schriefels and many many more. The reading is free and so are the vegan snacks that will be served.

If you can't make it to Moo Shoes, get a copy of Rumpshaker! at your favorite local record store or directly from Weiss.

And though they don't list the zine (at the moment anyway), Moo Shoes also sells their wears online (Docs anyone?).

Pretty sick of all these emo reunions. Yeah I listened to all these bands back in college too. Doesn't mean I still do. This is a genre of music you should grow out of at 25 or so. Still playing it at 40? Now that's just a joke.
