Sam Flax @ Pianos
One of our most anticipated new artists at this year's CMJ was psych pop artist Sam Flax, who came over from California for a few shows before and during CMJ, including the I Guess I'm Floating day party at Pianos on Thursday, October 18. Sam and his band played the upstairs lounge and had the place packed. More pictures from his set at that day party are below.

the festival loses tons of appeal if they leave the polo grounds. the venue is why most people go!
