Brooklyn crusty black metal favorites Mutlation Rites met their future tourmates at Knitting Factory on 9/27 when the Skeletonwitch/Havok/Early Graves tour rolled into town as part of a string of US dates for the trio. Pictures of the four bands laying waste to Knitting Factory are below, along with video.

For Early Graves, it was their first trip back to this part of the country since their last appearance, at Union Pool in 2010 with late vocalist Makh Daniels. RIP Makh, to whom Early Graves dedicated the song "Pure Hell."

Beginning on October 9, Mutilation Rites will hit the road for a set of dates to play catch-up towards an eventual tour supporting Skeletonwitch and Havok on the West Coast. Tour dates are listed below alongside pictures from Knitting Factory.

I'm laughing at the frowny baby in the picture and all of the people who take him and his band seriously.
