So So Glos / The Luyas / Bleeding Rainbow @ Stratosphere Sound 10/18/2012



Just like in CMJ's past, Fred Perry and recording studio Stratosphere Sound (the studio owned by James Iha, Fountains of Wayne's Adam Schlesinger and Ivy's Andy Chase) teamed to record eight band in eight hours on Thursday of CMJ week (10/18). With Grammy winning producer and engineer (not to mention Edsel bassist) Geoff Sanoff at the helm, The Luyas, Poor Moon, Slug Guts, So So Glos, Foxygen, Blessed Feathers, Ape School, and Bleeding Rainbow did guerilla session of two or three songs that will be made available on an Insound mix tape sometime in the future.
