Black Marble

Brooklyn dark synth duo Black Marble release their debut album, A Different Arrangement, next week (10/9) via Hardly Art. If you wear black on the outside because black is how you feel on the inside, or just love that early '80s minimal wave sound, this album should definitely appeal to those sensibilities. Check it out for yourself, we've got an early listen to a full stream of the album below.

No shows for Black Marble lined up currently but hopefully that will change soon.

I think I liked the original arrangement better.

Not bad, but I hope they didn't get diarrhea from those greasy ass slices at Anna Marias.

Always love the "let's hear your music" rebuttal to criticism. Like only musicians who put out brilliant works are worthy of disliking something. Give me a break, 10:38.

The "lets hear your music" rebuttal seems valid to anyone who makes music. It doesn't take a genius to know why it probably doesn't seem valid to you though 1:35

Yeah, you just keep trying to make sense at 5:15 in the morning, hopped up on coke like you'd have to be to enjoy this band.

You can express dislike in something without being a musician, dipshit.

I think the point was more about why are you coming on a message board talking about things you don't like, when you could be making things that you do? Seems like a good indicator of your own value in the world since you are what you choose to put time into. Do you think the guys in this band are on a Kenny Chesney message board talking about how Country sucks? Probably not. And furthermore, it seems like it's fair then to question the quality of the things you yourself put into the world if you have time to waste putting down others and adding more negativity instead of just doing things that you yourself like better. Once again, I stick with the original poster's sentiment. And once again you got schooled. If you were smart you'd keep your mouth shut. Which is why Im looking forward to your response.

Everyone's laughing at his lameness? No, I'm laughing at the frowny baby in the picture and all of the people who take him and his band seriously.

Complete BS. They're scared. Homeboy who ran that Africa scam got word that their were a few hard pipe-hitting hipsters waiting for him.

I love all their albums but their newest one is the best.
