The Vaccines at Webster Hall, 4/23/2012 (more by Joe McCabe)
The Vaccines

The Vaccines' sophomore album, The Vaccines Come of Age, is out today (10/2) in the U.S and is loaded with more sprightly, twangy hook-filled pop tales of love and lust. It's streamable at Spotify if you haven't heard it yet and are curious. The band, who were here just a couple weeks ago, have just announced a headlining tour for early 2013 that will bring them to NYC at Terminal 5 on January 31. Tickets go on sale Friday, October 5 at noon with an AmEx presale beginning Wednesday (10/3) at noon.

I truly loved the first album, so I'm afraid to report that this follow-up album is a gift wrapped turd.

I couldn't even give away Bowery tix for face - now they are playing T5? Good luck with that.

Everyone's laughing at his lameness? No, I'm laughing at the frowny baby in the picture and all of the people who take him and his band seriously.

Complete BS. They're scared. Homeboy who ran that Africa scam got word that their were a few hard pipe-hitting hipsters waiting for him.
