The Walkmen @ T5, 10/18/2012
Forefathers of NYC's current indie rock scene, The Walkmen headlined Terminal 5 last Thursday (10/18) which was the penultimate date on their fall tour supporting their seventh album, Heaven. The show ended up being opened up to CMJ badges, which made it probably the biggest show of the festival. In addition to their rousing set, the T5 show also featured Dum Dum Girls (who played Glasslands the night before) and the spooky, beautiful sounds of Daughter, who also played other CMJ shows. the festival loses tons of appeal if they leave the polo grounds. the venue is why most people go!

oh shit didnt know we could pick up a poster afterwards! oh well, crazy show, short setlist but still worth it.
