If you are not totally burned out from CMJ there are a bunch of great shows tonight, including post-punk legends Crime & the City Solution who will be playing their first NYC show in many, many years. Tickets are still available.

Elsewhere in Brooklyn, Titus Andronicus are playing a record release show at Shea Stadium (sold out) which should be a sweaty good time.

If you want to watch the final Presidential debate perhaps you'd like to do so in the presence of professional comedians who may or may not be funnier than the people you'd be watching it with at your apartment. You can do this at Gotham Comedy Club where they've brought in professional riff-man Frank Conniff (aka "TV's Frank" from MST3K), Sandra Bernhard, W. Kamau Bell and more.

"Titus/Liquor store is going to be so sick."

What are you 12? Already know you are an idiot from that comment.

Posted by Anonymous | October 22, 2012 4:50 PM

does that Titus nerd wear that Cramps shirt at every gig? or has BV just been using photos from the same show for the last 200 posts on them?

Posted by json | October 22, 2012 4:58 PM

is that Avey Tare?

OH AVEY TARE!!!

(Boff.)

Posted by Anonymous | October 22, 2012 5:05 PM

that's not a Cramps Shirt, it's some stupid hipster manipulation of the Bad Music for Bad People cover.

Posted by Anonymous | October 22, 2012 5:14 PM

always cool to read comments here after a few months of not reading them to find that nothing's changed and that nobody here ever grows up.

Is there any band more hated on BV than Titus Andronicus?

Posted by Anonymous | October 22, 2012 5:26 PM

yes, anybody that is good and gains a following

Posted by Anonymous | October 22, 2012 6:41 PM

Is there any band more hated on Brooklyn Vegan than any band Brooklyn Vegan has posted about ever?

Posted by Anonymous | October 22, 2012 6:49 PM

Who's Dick Hertz?

Posted by Anonymous | October 22, 2012 6:53 PM

^ he's the cousin of my neighbor - Sly Mekhunt

Posted by Anonymous | October 22, 2012 7:00 PM

Much hated and constantly publicized. That picture really says it all. NJ high school battle of the bands champ gets picked up by Pitchfork... the rest is history. But hey, it's a living.

Hummus. Amirite?

Posted by Anonymous | October 22, 2012 9:10 PM

Wish I knew about the Bottle Up & Go set earlier. Thought that shit went on ice after Fort Lean started to take off. They used to be so great.

Q: Why do Rush fans stand at their concerts?
A: To stay awake

Posted by Anonymous | October 22, 2012 11:31 PM

I love Rush shows because they are so spontaneous. Never the same setlist. For instance, tonight Alex's guitar crapped out in 2112. Bet that didn't happen any other time this tour.

Posted by Anonymous | October 22, 2012 11:33 PM

I saw Tyrion Lannister at the Rush show

Posted by Anonymous | October 22, 2012 11:33 PM

LIRR made enough tonight from the Rush show to float the city the rest of the year.

Posted by Anonymous | October 22, 2012 11:48 PM

Hey 9:10, 8:18 is actually right so you should probably eat shit right now

http://www.eventbrite.com/event/4615974504?nomo=1

I mean it is some corporate bullshit and will probably suck and be a short Kanye performance but still it is free and he is playing

Oh and eventbrite tickets went in about 2 minutes

Where is Mitt Boy shouting about his robot hero? Guess he is not around seeing as how his man got beat the fuck up tonight in that debate. Boy the President made the robot look pretty fucking stupid, petty and uninformed.

Posted by Anonymous | October 23, 2012 4:01 AM

^ LULZ at this assclown, up at 4:01 AM to froth and mumble incoherently, crazy eyes and all. Meth is bad, silly rabbit, you should really stop. It's probably stopped being "funny" to your family by now.

Posted by Anonymous | October 23, 2012 7:48 AM

^To be fair, isn't it usually you playing the role of loser up at 4 am trolling this site?

Posted by Anonymous | October 23, 2012 8:27 AM

^ I am 7:48 and your comment makes me wonder who the hell you are talking to ... ? I am never on this site at 4:00 AM. Nice try though. Maybe you need joke skool too?

Posted by Anonymous | October 23, 2012 9:13 AM

@4:01/8:27 = PUT DOWN THE CRACK PIPE AND GO TO SLEEP! YOU ARE DOING NOBODY ANY GOOD INCOHERENTLY PRATTLING ON ABOUT SHIT NO ONE CARES ABOUT!

That is all.

Posted by Your Mother | October 23, 2012 9:35 AM

cool story, bro.

Posted by Anonymous | October 23, 2012 10:00 AM

LULZ, there is Mitt Boy at 7:48. So butthurt at his robot's performance.

And to answer your query 8:27am, Yes he is usually the troll ranting at all hours of the day and night on here.

Posted by Anonymous | October 23, 2012 1:05 PM

7:48 ('silly rabbit' guy) is Mitt Boy? wow. What's worse - a Mitt Boy or a Corganite?

Posted by Anonymous | October 23, 2012 1:20 PM

Very much.

Posted by минск | October 23, 2012 1:28 PM

You can always tell it's the old man right wing troll loser when he includes his cringe inducingly lame insults such as "silly rabbit" or "crazy eye lefty" in addition to his usual LULZ and amirite amirite.

I think the dude honestly thinks that people aren't laughing at him, which is sad when you stop and think about it. He's 70 years plus and still anonymously trying to troll a hipster music blog. Kinda similar to an old man who hangs out at school playgrounds. Extremely creepy.

Posted by Anonymous | October 23, 2012 2:06 PM

^ boring

Posted by Anonymous | October 23, 2012 2:31 PM

LULZ @ 2:06
"cringe inducingly lame insults" that just keep getting under your skin, that keep eating at you, that keep creeping into your waking self and inducing grrrrrrrrr! anger!

LULZ @ u. I am so inside your head, silly bunny! Go ahead, refresh refresh refresh and write back telling me how I'm just so wrong, and prove my point yet again. You can't help it, you're just not smart at all.

Posted by Anonymous | October 23, 2012 2:42 PM

^ dude he can't hear you. he obvs lives in Europe (Ireland amirite) and is probably out scoring more dope right about now. don't worry, he'll be back on later once he gets el curo.

Posted by Anonymous | October 23, 2012 4:02 PM

Romney is evil. I know that's true because it was in Rolling Stone.
