Deer Tick at Carnegie Hall, 10/27/2012 (more by Chris La Putt)
Deer Tick

Deer Tick, who just performed at Carnegie Hall as part of singer John McCauley's big night there, are going to be busy next month, including the previously announced opening slot for My Morning Jacket at Port Chester's Capitol Theatre on 12/27 (tickets). But before that, McCauley and the rest of the band will have a three-week Wednesday residency at Brooklyn Bowl beginning December 5. The shows are special beyond that too as they'll be performing an album and EP in full at each show:

12.05.12 Born on Flag Day + More Fuel for the Fire EP
12.12.12 The Black Dirt Sessions + Holy Shit it's Christmas EP
12.19.12 Divine Providence + Tim EP
Tickets for the 12/5, the 12/12 and the 12/19 shows are on sale now.

After the Brooklyn Bowl shows (and one day after their Cap show with MMJ), Deer Tick will play Maxwell's in Hoboken on 12/28 and those tickets are on sale too. Right after that, Deer Tick the band are going on the road for a tour with Two Gallants that includes dates in the Northeast and Australia. All upcoming Deer Tick dates are listed at the bottom of this post.

Getting 2 for Black Dirt Sessions. I've never seen Mange or Christ Jesus live, should be great. Plus how can you go wrong with a live "Holy Shit It's Christmas."
