"The sorting/distributing center in a chapel at @520ClintonOS for #sandy relief. Really easy to drop in and help." - Caroline Polachek (of Chairlift)

Hurricane Sandy

Everyone have a great weekend! Do something fun tonight. Come to our free movie screening Sunday. Take the L train if you need to.

But before we go, just a reminder that people are still in bad shape from Hurricane Sandy, and there are still plenty of ways you can help. We've posted a bunch - like how you can head to the Rockaways on Saturday or Coney Island over the weekend (more about that HERE too). Take a look at Occupy Sandy and NYCService for many more ways to chip in. Stop by the Park Slope Armory and ask them what they need if you're in Park Slope. Head to Red Hook or Staten Island.

* Help raise money by laughing at Rob Delaney Saturday
* Or by stopping by Saint Vitus the same night
* Some crappy Louis CK seats are still available
* Go to some other benefit show. There are lots of them.

Mention more ways to help, or whatever you want, in the comments...

You never know how strong you are until you dare to let go of something you think you can't live without.
