Maxmillion Dunbar (aka Andrew Field-Pickering, aka 1/2 of Beautiful Swimmers and head of the Future Times label) will release his new album, House of Woo, on February 19 via RVNG Intl. The lead single to that album, "Woo," is a psychedelic dance track with sparkling synths and a deep, headknocking beat that feels like it repeats endlessly and is only disappointing when you realize it doesn't. You can stream that track and check out the album's tracklist below. That's the cover art above.
As mentioned, Maxmillion Dunbar will play a NYC show TONIGHT (11/16) at 285 Kent with his RNVG labelmates Holly Herndon (whose new album, Movement, is out now and can be streamed below and purchased here) and Blondes. Admission is $10 and doors are at midnight. Show flyer below.
