Good news from lower Manhattan! The power is back on. According to ConEd, “Area restored begins at Canal St,stretches as far north as 14/15th and reaches west to Broadway and east to the East River.” Most shows at venues in the area — like Hospitality and TEEN at Bowery Ballroom — have already been canceled but if we hear different, we’ll try and let you know.

Chelsea power is back too: “#Chelsea network: #HudsonRiver on west, #30th/31st St. on north, 14th/15th on south. #5thAve on east” tweets ConEd.

Pianos re-opens at 8 PM tonight. No bands, but food and drink. Saturday shows still TBD.

Living Room is open: “”Power’s back on and we are OPEN FOR BUSINESS! Let’s all hug it out on Ludlow St. We’ve missed your beautiful faces. So long cabin fever!” They’ll have bands starting at Midnight.

So is Cake Shop: “AND WE’RE BACK!!!! Many people still out, but most of EV, LES and Chinatown back.. Stay tuned about tonites show. Well be open upstairs.”

Webster Hall is open tonight: “Blackout recovery party!!! Doors open 10pm.”
