I mean I know its for a good cause and all, but holy fuck, would it be possible to put together a more annoying bill of overhyped garbage at a shittier venue than this? The only band missing is Lana Del Ray.

The Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City.

Pretty sure Staten Island & Far Rockaway won't see a dime.

Thanks for the chuckle 5:05. Not many posts on this site make me laugh.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2012 5:11 PM

urban outfitters rules though

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2012 5:11 PM

Really guys? If I'm doing the math right they're going to raise over $100kfor people who's homes are wrecked...

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2012 5:18 PM

Holy god in heaven. MAKE ME A SHITTIER BILL. MAKE ITTTT!!!!

okay. I will try. sleigh bells. cults. widowspeak. Deap Valley.

there. now it is the worst bill EVER.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2012 5:19 PM

Swap out the Antlers and add in Foster the People, and you have the most torturous bill ever put together.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2012 5:25 PM

The lineup really sucks, it's got fail written all over it, but for the love of all that is good LOOK AT ALEXIS' ASS IN THE PICTURE!!!!!!

I think I need to get some tissues now

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2012 5:26 PM

boo hoo the bands are bad -- at least theyre acting to raise money...

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2012 5:29 PM

actually all of these bands are just fine

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2012 5:36 PM

OMG Anonymous thinks these bands are bad! They must be bad!!

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2012 5:38 PM

I'm charging admission for people to watch me take a dump, and giving all the money to charity. Makes it all good!

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2012 5:43 PM

This is a fine line up no clue what yer talking about.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2012 5:43 PM

how about I just go see the Antlers at merc lounge?

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2012 5:52 PM

I want to see Antlers on a bill with Caribou, Deer Tick, and Deerhoof.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2012 6:06 PM

"how about I just go see the Antlers at merc lounge?"

You'll need to take a time machine back to 2010 buddy. Their last NYC show was headlining Webster Hall.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2012 6:08 PM

The only band who seems out of place honestly is Sleigh Bells, but I guess they'll liven it up a bit

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2012 6:09 PM

That girl from Sleigh Bells has a nice butt.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2012 6:10 PM

Would be nice if Ticketmaster donated the $22K in ticket processing fees as well.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2012 6:17 PM

I would eat her ass

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2012 6:28 PM

I would eat her ass an hour after she's eaten tacos.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2012 6:46 PM

UM. I would rather donate than see any of these bands.

Also, no one in sleigh bells will ever EVER EVER be hot. FOOLS

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2012 6:58 PM

I'll go for Grizzly Bear and the Antlers, be mildly amused by the rest. Complaining about benefit show lineups is really a strong indicator of what type of people we have here on BV, plus this will raise way more money than the small gigs ---and ultimately it's about raising money, not about whether some anonymous commenters like a band or not

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2012 7:08 PM

alexis Kraus' ass + KBK's tiddies + Austra's face = damn fine son

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2012 7:20 PM

I'd donate money to see Alexis' ass.

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2012 7:38 PM

what, no ting tings?

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2012 9:13 PM

Anyone have any ideas whether these will be full sets or short sets?

Posted by Anonymous | November 28, 2012 11:35 PM

I know it's a benefit and all...but How the fuck are Sleigh Bells billed over Grizzly Bear??

Posted by Anonymous | November 29, 2012 12:51 AM

would give her cock. all she's good for anyway.

Posted by Anonymous | November 29, 2012 12:58 AM

Beck and Aziz Ansari will be performing as well now, according to Pitchfork. I'd imagine these will be short sets based on the number of acts...with those two additions I'm seriously considering a ticket now.

Posted by Anonymous | November 29, 2012 1:10 AM

actually 1:10, Beck and Aziz are part of a West Coast benefit for Sandy, no ticket for you after all.

Posted by Anonymous | November 29, 2012 1:12 AM

12:51, think about how many trendy high schoolers are into Sleigh Bells and compare that to the amount who can name a Grizzly Bear song other than "Two Weeks"

Posted by Anonymous | November 29, 2012 1:15 AM

Thanks Guys! You flattered me so much! I blow you air fart smooch. Thanks for donating your comments. Tee Hee.

BV is a good music sight, but you should seriously consider removing the ability for readers to leave comments. Most of the comments are posted by immature jerks, who probably still live in their parents' basement and likely have little or nothing to offer other readers, the world of music, or any other world. Acting like juveniles here merely shows your ignorance and idiocy. No wonder you do it anonymously, I'd be ashamed to claim most of the comments on this sight if I submitted them also. So please improve this sight and eliminate the comments sections. Thanks.

7:32 - While your comment has some merit, it ain't never gonna happen. As twisted and masochistic as it may be, the comments to these threads are part of what makes BV so popular. Go figure.
