Tame Impala played MHOW, play Webster Hall on Saturday; made a video for "Feels Like We Only Go Backwards" (watch)

Tame Impala played Music Hall of Williamsburg last night (11/9), a sold-out show as part of their tour with The Amazing (who played Mercury Lounge last week). The pair will do it again on Saturday night (11/10) at Webster Hall which is also sold out. Did you go to the show? How was it?

In other Tame Impala news, the band just released a video for new single "Feels Like We Only Go Backwards" from their album Lonerism. Directors Joe Pelling and Becky Sloan's head trip (literally) vision for the clip is old-school hand animated, looking like something from vintage '70s Sesame Street. Still it's hard for this to beat PS22 Chorus' take on the same song. Videos of both are below.

i wento the show, after a long lonely wet walk to the venue, it was crowded inside with farting smelly non-music fans complaining bout the ppl nexto them, standing in front of them. Another weird no-movement show, with sad uptight weenies getting off to the riffage of slow phaser ridden aussies. The band was beautiful and the sound was perfect, forreal. i smoked a joint and left satisfied.

there was this girl in front of me who passed out before the show started, so the guards picked her up and took her out.. ten minutes later she came back and passed out again shortly after..
