watch Ty Segall's 'Letterman' performance
Ty Segall and his band, unsurprisingly, ripped their performance of “You’re the Doctor” on last night’s episode of The Late Show with David Letterman, their network television debut. (They made their cable debut on Conan a few weeks back.) He also works in a “GO VOTE!” at the end there too. If you missed it, check out video from the performance, to which Letterman reacted “Remember kids, don’t neglect your studies.” Video is below and that comes from his new album, Twins, which is out now and his third LP of 2012.
While that will probably tide you over for a bit, there is no replacing seeing Ty Segall’s live show in person. His seemingly-endless tour is will soon hit Europe, returning to North America for West Coast in December. He’ll be back on theEast Coast with Ex-Cult in the New Year. Webster Hall gets the look on February 1 and tickets are still available.
