As much as I totally in agreement on grimes and crowd at river park, stil there was the biggest collection of hotties in an outdoor show this summer!

I just don't get OTMOP. I felt like it was aimed at the teenage punk/hardcore/emo crowd in the late 90s and even then most people thought it was kinda lame.

And now all of the sudden this year, everyone's cumming all over the place over them.

It's like if Further Seems Forever suddenly started selling out Terminal 5.

Hot damn, I go to 5-10 shows a month, and yet I missed all of these. Here are my top 10 live performances of 2012:

10. All Pigs Must Die at Knitting Factory
9. Royal Thunder at St. Vitus
8. Incendiary at Acheron
7. Mares of Thrace at St. Vitus
6. False at Acheron
5. Trash Talk at 285 Kent
4. Municipal Waste at Santo's
3. Converge at MHOW
2. Yob at Bell House
1. Refused at Europa

Honorable mentions: Nile, Mutilation Rites, Behemoth, Sannhet and Jay-Z

Sunny's videos are higher quality. Dont kid yourself. That kid is doing amazing things and just improving his operation every year.

8:24, good list, especially with Incendiary and APMD.

torstens videos are like eleven seconds long and he never shares the rest of his footage. what he's doing is not productive for the scene AT ALL. sunny as well as sites like facetheshow are the real preservers of modern hxc/metal. torstens whole aura is self worshipping sadness.

"Best after show hang" may have been the best one of the last ten years. Insane night of debauchery.

Posted by Anonymous | November 30, 2012 1:38 AM

Yea that incendiary show was great. But they put on an even better one a couple weeks later at the long island ethical humanist society.
