Walter Schreifels at Bowery Ballroom in 2009 (more by Nicole Kibert)
Walter Schreifels

Walter Schreifels has been reunited with a number of his old bands in the past couple years, like Gorilla Biscuits, Rival Schools, and Quicksand, but he's still found time to squeeze in solo shows too. He just played one at Saint Vitus (11/10) for a Hurricane Sandy Relief benefit with Neon Indian (DJ), Buke and Gase, Bloodyminded, and Believer/Law. At the show, he performed the Quicksand track, "Delusional," which you can watch a video of below.

As mentioned, his next solo show happens in NYC on November 30 at Matchless. Show flyer is below.

If you're in the Chicago area, you can catch Walter playing as a member of Gorilla Biscuits at the Revelation Records 25th anniversary in January with Youth of Today, Shelter, Texas is the Reason, Into Another, and more. Revelation 25 NYC went down this past October.

Show flyer, live video, and two recent song streams, are below.
