Rolling Stones

The Rolling Stones, who played Prudential Center last night (12/13) with guests Mick Taylor and John Mayer, and will play again Saturday night (12/15) with guests Mick Taylor, Bruce Springsteen, The Black Keys, and Lady Gaga (that one streams live via pay-per-view) may have just revealed that they'll be playing Coachella 2013. The screenshot above is of the tour page on Rolling Stones official iPhone app, which no longer lists Coachella but luckily multiple fans caught the Stones red-handed (via Rolling Stone). And if you're wondering what that Huntington, NY show is, it's just a movie theatre showing a screening of The Rolling Stones: The Ron Wood Years later this month.

The Stones join Sigur Ros, Atoms for Peace, Passion Pit and many others on the speculated list for this year's Coachella festival which goes down from April 12-14 and again from April 19-21. Any other guesses?

Cinema Arts Centre is a tiny movie theater attached to a nursing home. Maybe they plan on staying there for a few nights.

Yeah baby--Stones at the Balcony Theater in Cuntington. Why not. STP played there this year.

Everything the Stones have done since "Gimme Fame" has been a rip-off of The Beatles' "Hard Day's Night."

of course theyre playing Coachella. why would that surprise anyone? theyre touring this summer.

Posted by Anonymous | December 16, 2012 2:59 AM

Actually, they aren't playing Coachella, poseur of omniscience, and while they will play additional shows in 2013, none of them have been booked yet and they likely won't follow any standard "tour" model.

The reason tickets are $63 is because they are only playing one show this time around, and not five shows, as some people are expecting!
