Bravo--excellent stuff. Demonstrates that this is a primarily a visual site, albeit with good music info and of course snide comments.

How hard is it to photograph a live show? Let's see...
Get yourself a very expensive, modern camera--check
Find a decent angle--check
Shoot a million shots--check
Download your million shots to an expensive, modern laptop--check
Pick the most interesting shot--check
Act like you really did something artistic or special--check
Set up your tripod, take that once in a lifetime pic, develop your own film, and then let's talk.

How hard is it to be a useless critic?

The fact that he was able to capture a picture of Hope Sandoval without being wrestled to the ground and having his camera broken says a lot about how good he is.

David is undoubtedly one of the best rock photographers out there, internet, print or anywhere.
