Rumours

They had said they were going to tour next year and now we know when and where: Fleetwood Mac have announced a big 2013 North American tour that kicks off April 4 in Columbus, OH and will hit NYC at Madison Square Garden on April 8, and they'll also play Prudential Center on April 24. Tickets to all shows on this tour will go on sale Friday, December 14.

While still in the early stages of planning, Lindsay Buckingham tells Rolling Stone what he'd like to see happen on this tour:

Maybe we'll play more songs from Tusk. I'd also like to see an extended middle portion of the show that's just me and Stevie. This is just me talking from the top of my head. For now, I have no particular vision of what this tour is going to be.
Fleetwood Mac are on the cover of the year-end issue of MOJO that features a track-for-track remake of Rumours, done by such artists as Yeasayer, Liars, Julia Holter, and The Besnard Lakes. The issue also features the magazine's favorite albums of 2013.

Can the baby boomer generation just die off already?. Even Buckingham doesn't know why they are performing. "I have no particular vision of what this tour is going to be." Money grubbing weirdos and their fans.

"No Christine McVie, no point."

My mother is a BV commenter apparently.

Props to Detroit for being virtually the only city without a stupidly-named corporate arena.

Yeah, NYC boomers have really been in their glory lately. Dylan, Young, Stones and now Fleetwood Mac. Lotta dough those spoiled fucks are throwing around...

7:37-jealous douche who only wishes he could play music for a living.

Posted by Anonymous | December 4, 2012 8:51 AM

playing the sandy benefit

Posted by Anonymous | December 4, 2012 9:15 AM

Why are they playing Houston a year after Dallas?

Posted by Anonymous | December 4, 2012 9:23 AM

10:13, difference is Neil Young is still fantastic, and he's playing stuff the boomers don't want to hear or flat out don't know. It's kinda great watching them sit down or walk (the fuck) out.

Posted by Anonymous | December 4, 2012 10:46 AM

7:37 - so right! Everyone would love to hear them go out and play NEW music. No one wants to go hear all of the great older Fleetwood Mac songs. You should probably get into band management or something.

Posted by Anonymous | December 4, 2012 10:55 AM

As long as that ugly, hirsute, bridge troll- I mean Mick Fleetwood- is still playing, it's still Fleetwood Mac.

Posted by Anonymous | December 4, 2012 1:38 PM

10:55 ha ha ha

God I love TUSK, this is something that is on my calendar...hopefully the tickets dont jump to freakin Stub Hub within 5 minutes. Frustrating.

Posted by GYPSY | December 4, 2012 5:31 PM

Tusk is more of a "headphones album"...I'll just do that and use the money I save on delicious pizza...
