Paul Banks at Webster Hall - 12/14/12
Paul Banks

Interpol frontman Paul Banks played a hometown show at Webster Hall on Friday (12/14), after rescheduling the date, which would have been part of his now-concluded North American tour. Ex Cops were the support for the evening. Paul split the set pretty well between material off of his new album, Banks, and material from back when he was still calling himself Julian Plenti.

Both Paul and Ex Cops gave us lists of their favorite things of 2012, and Ex Cops also turned in a nice cover of Paul McCartney's "Wonderful Christmas Time." More pics and the setlist from the show are below...

this was an incredible show. paul banks is a great, talented guy. had a lot of fun at this show, and his two encore songs nailed it.

Why do people think he's going to do Interpol songs?

Posted by Miriam Glushakoff | December 17, 2012 3:54 PM

Because he was in Interpol?

but this is not an interpol show, silly hipster

McCartney does Beatles songs at his solo shows..

He played a couple of Interpol songs in he's Julian Plenti tour. And come on, that's not the best Setlist. Headline show only 12 songs, no Games for Days or Summertime is coming and no Interpol. It really could be much better

Great show.
He played Games for Days in the encore which is not listed.

But he has clearly stated he is not going to do Interpol songs. So people need to stop
