Florence and the Machine at Deluna Fest 2012 (more by Dana [distrotion] Yavin)

Florence Welch, who joined the Rolling Stones at their recent London show and just received two Grammy nominations, stopped singing to break up a fight at one of her own shows the other night at AECC in Scotland. You can watch the whole thing go down, beginning at the 1:20 mark in the video below...

I was so ready to trash this shit, and then it turned out really sweet. Damn it. I need another news story, quick.

You gotta admit that she handled that like a real pro. If it's even possible to make those people more of a fan of hers than they already are, she did just that.

the story is (supposedly) under the video on youtube and sounds realistic. i still think she's irritating, but this was class.

What records video at a concert? Shitty quality at that. Put down the damn smartphone and watch the concert. Millennials no doubt.

If they would have not gotten into a fight they would have never shared that intimate moment with Florence. Now they have a memory that they can cherish forever through the power of fighting.

Now people are going to start getting into fights at Florence & The Machine shows just to get to meet Florence...

I was thinking about peeing on a friend at her next concert. Then the friend will cry. Then Florence will hug and kiss the friend (and therefore hug and kiss my pee.)

Whenever there's expensive tickets, and a predominately female audience, it goes without saying that two wine drunk lunatics will end up in a fucking slap fight. Happened at Fiona Apple, happened at Robyn, and will continue to happen until the end of time.
