Tons of big deal shows tonight: the Stones at Barclays, Big Boi at the Studio @ Webster Hall, Yeah Yeah Yeahs's Sandy benefit at Union Pool, and "Royal Trux" (minus Jennifer Heremma) playing Twin Infinitives at Saint Vitus, and more.

Happy first night of Hanukkah! That means it's also the first night of Yo La Tengo's annual Hanukkah shows at Maxwell's. Who will be the secret opener tonight?

John Lennon died 32 years ago today. Tonight, Glasslands holds it's annual Lennon Party and this year's features members of Acrylics, Caged Animals, Erika Spring, Ex Cops, Har Mar Superstar, Psychic,, & Rewards, SoftSpot, Sugars, TEEN, White Gallery, Yellow Ostrich and more performing his songs. All proceeds go toward Hurricane Sandy relief. Tickets are still available.

Roc Marciano just released a video for "Deeper" and you can check that out below.

Can we please all come together, for the sake of Edward "Ed" Droste and all the fans of the Grizzly Band, and raise our collective voices against the atrocity that is them not receiving a nomination, not one fucking vote, for a Grammy, this country's true measure of what makes music great. Let's do it for little Eddie and all the tears he has shed.

I love how all the old folks are going ape shit over the Stones coming to Brooklyn. Jagger was a hero to most, but he never meant shit to me.
