Rachel Zeffira of Cat's Eyes released her first solo album, The Deserters, today in the UK. Like her band (with Farris of The Horrors), it's vaguely '60s-ish, but quite lovely and makes for nice mellow listening. You can stream the whole album below.

How to Dress Well made a video for "& It Was U." Check it out below.

do you think it is still possible to get SP tkts?

Barclays hosting Pumpkins and Stones in the course of 3 days. #LegendsOfRock

1:35 Can still buy SP tix online for $25 (and really good seats!), or you can surely just stroll up to the box office before showtime and buy then (although I don't know if they will be $25 there).

Wonder how empty the SP show will be?

Posted by Anonymous | December 10, 2012 2:38 PM

^Pretty empty..not one single ticket in the 200's on stub hub that gives you a hint that nothing was sold up there...

Posted by Anonymous | December 10, 2012 2:53 PM

yeah, so they're playing to 5,000-7,000. I'm sure GRIMES will be playing to 15,000K in 20 years.

Posted by Anonymous | December 10, 2012 2:57 PM

If the above stub hub story is accurate, that is gonna be pretty embarassing for Corgan.......

Posted by Anonymous | December 10, 2012 3:02 PM

if all of this is true, he shold have just played T5.

Posted by Anonymous | December 10, 2012 3:06 PM

This booking is truly delusional.

Posted by Anonymous | December 10, 2012 3:14 PM

2:57 - Corganite logic tells you that someone on this thread is a big Grimes fan? I pity the Corganites.

Q: What's the difference between a Corganite and a Mongoloid?

A: The Mongoloid might be able to bag your groceries or something.

billy's head looks like a pumpkin...

Posted by Anonymous | December 10, 2012 3:39 PM

Yeah, I'm not sure how they thought they could do arenas this time when last tour (when Jimmy Chamberlin was there too) they were playing theaters.

Posted by Anonymous | December 10, 2012 3:44 PM

There are already scalpers outside Barclay selling for 30 bucks.

Posted by Anonymous | December 10, 2012 3:47 PM

Anyone going to the Pumpkins show tonight?I'm going solo because no one i know wanted to spend their 25 dollars.

Posted by Anonymous | December 10, 2012 4:10 PM

3:37: Please stick to your shitty re-hashed hummus "jokes" instead. They're so hilarious!

Posted by Anonymous | December 10, 2012 4:11 PM

uh-oh. I made the Corganite mad! For the record: (A) I have never typed the word 'hummus' on BV until right now. (B) No one else has typed it in a long time either. Much like your musical tastes, your references are out of date.

Posted by Anonymous | December 10, 2012 4:15 PM

To be fair to Billy Corgan,it was supposed to be a special Halloween show. Not an ordinary,delayed,shitty-weather show.

Posted by Anonymous | December 10, 2012 4:18 PM

Stop talking bad about hummus. It is a fine and wondrous food source.

whatever mans, i saw the nu-Pumpkins a week ago and it was awesome, even with Oceania not being that great an album, it was the best part of the night. ace visuals, too. i think it'll be a good show, regardless of the crowd... just maybe shoulda been a smaller venue.

Posted by Anonymous | December 10, 2012 9:12 PM

Barclays entire second level was covered with curtains. Despite the turnout, it was a good show --- if you arrived at 9:45 and paid $16 on Stubhub. Like me.

Posted by Anonymous | December 11, 2012 12:23 AM

It was well worth the $19.

Posted by Anonymous | December 11, 2012 3:52 PM

^hate to say it, but if so, its for the best-they sounded roughly 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 times better than when they were last in ny.
