NRMAL

Festival Nrmal is happening again this year in Monterey, Mexico, expanding to a multiple day event from March 6 - 10 (just before SXSW if you're keeping track). The line-up for the fourth-annual event was just released and features Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti, Twin Shadow, Sky Ferreira, Mykki Blanco, Trash Talk, King Tuff, Parquet Courts, Kitty Pryde, Mortuary and many, many more. (English language bands were curated, as before, by Todd P.) The whole line-up is in the flyer below.

Advance tickets ($25) are available here. Flyer with the 2013 line-up is below.

I dunno. I was thisclose to buying my plane ticket on Kayak to Mexico but realized it was just Dustin Wong without any other members of Ponytail. ¡No gracias!

Todd p's site calls it festival norml / mtymx yet nothing on the website or here mentions mtymx - is he announcing an additional stage/lineup? Or have they just pushed him out?

The festival will have two main stages: MTYMX and NRMAL that's why Todd calls it Festival NRMAL + MTYMX

Monterrey with to "r"s. Great city glad to be from their and it is the most hipsterlicious city in Mexico and probably Latin America.

It's like Austin but with shootouts.
