Bad Religion at Irving Plaza in 2010 (more by Keith Marlowe)
Bad Religion

Melodic punks Bad Religion will release their sixteenth album, True North, on January 22 via Epitaph, but have just revealed an advance stream of the entire thing which you can listen to below. It doesn't sound too different from the other records they've done since reuniting with Brett Gurewitz (everything from 2002's The Process of Belief on) which is probably a good thing if you're a Bad Religion fan, and it's pretty impressive for any band to be doing 30+ years into their career.

Bad Religion will support the album on a tour with Against Me! and Polar Bear Club this March and April. That tour hits NYC at Terminal 5 on March 26. Tickets for the NYC show go on sale Friday (1/18) at noon. UPDATE: They also play a NYC area show on March 23 at Wellmont Theatre and tickets for that show go on sale Friday (1/18) at noon.

Against Me! are also planning a new album this year, called Transgender Dysphoria Blues, which is still without an exact release date. You can watch a video of Laura Jane Grace performing the title track at a solo show below.

That video, a list of all currently known dates and the album stream below...

Bad Religion: Forever committed to T5 :)

I might actually go see this. PhDs and trannies, y'all!

Transgender is the new punk style. Didn't you know?

Posted by Anonymous | January 15, 2013 3:18 PM

Whyyyyy T5 again? It was bad enough they had to open for Rise Against there. I'm resigned to the fact that nothing will top those 30th Anniversary shows at Irving Plaza. Those were incredible.

The shows at CB's coney Island High and Wetlands (I only went to CB's and Wetlands) were better, but the Irving shows were great.

2 albums worth of great material? Youre insane. The only releases short of greatness were Grey Race, No Substance, New America.

Posted by Anonymous | January 15, 2013 9:13 PM

i'll take grey race over stranger than fiction or recipe for hate any day.
