Chris Gethard presenting "The Weirdest Bands We Know" at Death by Audio tonight

As you may know, comedian Chris Gethard usually has a band on his weekly NYC cable access / online talk show. Last night, for example, Screaming Females played (archived video of that is not online yet, unfortunately). Tonight (1/17) at Death by Audio you can go see four former music guests of The Chris Gethard Show at a party they're calling "Come Take A Ride With The Weirdest Bands We Know, Vol. 2." Those bands are Dolchnakov Brigade, Mal Blum, Claire's Diary, and Electric Monday. In addition to the music, expect "many of the oddballs who appear on the show, and will feature not just music but ill advised crowd participation, stunts, and prize giveaways." Says Chris on Facebook:

One thing I'm super proud of at the last concert we threw is that it was a straight up DANCE PARTY. So many shows around New York are just standing around and staring. Not at TCGS concerts. At most NY shows, people are embarrassed to dance. At our shows, people are embarrassed NOT to dance. Come by this Thursday night and see four of our best ever acts throw down.
