In 2011, German electronic artist Ellen Allien worked with coreographers/dancers Alexandre Roccoli and Sevérine Rième on a performance titled "Drama per Musica" which took place at Paris' Pompidou Centre. She has now reworked the music from that performance into a new album, LISm, which will be out March 12 via BPitch Control. You can stream a sampler from the album below.
Meanwhile, Allien has some DJ gigs coming up, including a warehouse party in NYC on January 25. Location details are being withheld currently, but tickets are on sale now. DJ dates are listed below, along with the album sampler.
