Heathered Pearls is the moniker of Polish ambient musician Jakub Alexander who now lives in Brooklyn. He recently released his debut LP, Loyal, out now via Ghostly International. Lush and transportive, you can stream the entire LP below.
New York has a couple chances to see Heathered Pearls live. Tonight (1/18) he plays the "Connections" party at Ran Tea House with with Rioux, Prism House, and Certain Creatures. It promises to be an "exploration in electronic psychedelia" and is $5 before midnight, $7 after. More info here. Then he's also on the bill (DJing) for Austra's upcoming DJ night at Glasslands on January 25 . Tickets are still available.

"loyal" is one of the best ambient records to come out in the past few years.

The new album brings together similar sounds to its predecessor, but does lean a little more on the indie pop side, especially with songs like singl.
