Jonathan Clancy in Detroit...

What started as solo home recordings from A Classic Education's Jonathan Clancy, His Clancyness has become a full band over the late couple years and have become as active as ACE. The band recently finished their new album in Detroit with producer Chris Koltay (Atlas Sound, Liars, Lotus Plaza) which should be out sometime in the near future.
His Clancyness are coming over from their Bologna, Italy home for SXSW and will be playing shows outside of Texas too. The only announced date so far is in NYC: March 10 at Glasslands. The rest of the lineup is still TBA but tickets are on sale now.
While we wait for the their new album, you can check out His Clancyness' cover of El Perro Del Mar's "I Can't Talk About It" which is streaming below...

I'd give almost anything to see them live. His Clancyness is a epic band. I can't wait till their new album is released.

Jesus Spiritualized sounds like ass with Kid on drums. You'd think he'd bother to learn the fucking songs
