Hunters, The Immaculates, MMotMM @ Dead Herring, 1/26/2012
The South 5th location of Williamsburg DIY space Dead Herring went out in sweaty style on Saturday night (1/26) with sets from Hunters, The Immaculates, Moonmen on the Moon, Man and Necking. It was more of a party than a show, populated by much of the neighborhood’s music community and onlookers hanging from nearly every possible spot in the apartment-cum-venue and it was as packed as I’ve ever seen it. While sad, the wake was very much celebratory.
UPDATE: The Village Voice reports that Dead Herring will reopen in a new location at N. 1st and Wythe. Good news!
