Hunters, The Immaculates, MMotMM @ Dead Herring, 1/26/2012
Hunters
The Immaculates
Moonmen on the Moon, Man

The South 5th location of Williamsburg DIY space Dead Herring went out in sweaty style on Saturday night (1/26) with sets from Hunters, The Immaculates, Moonmen on the Moon, Man and Necking. It was more of a party than a show, populated by much of the neighborhood's music community and onlookers hanging from nearly every possible spot in the apartment-cum-venue and it was as packed as I've ever seen it. While sad, the wake was very much celebratory.

UPDATE: The Village Voice reports that Dead Herring will reopen in a new location at N. 1st and Wythe. Good news!

More pics from Saturday's show are below.

I think we did pretty good considering we didn't practice once with everyone at one time. It showed I know. WHATEVER. It was fun.

First timer at your site, man don't I feel old. I am totally exhausted from just looking at all the energy that was burning and running freely in your photos! It looks like a great time was had, at least by looking at the ones captured in the photos and shared here for others to enjoy.
It was fun stopping in, thanks for letting me in, I tried the doorbell but it didn't appear to be working so I just let myself in. LOL!

Jim from Moonmen,
First rule of thumb around here, don't answer the trolls. It fuels them to say even dumber things and it kind of makes you look like a tool as well.

not enough rolling & singing on the floor for my tastes

I dont know if i was Rude by calling directly after some "volunteers" from the stage - but to be honest dosnt really care, if this was a little step to get more ux'er into core development and not beeing crushed under the issuequee im very happy to provide that match making.

After seeing Moonmen sabotage multiple shows by other bands at Cake Shop, it seems safe to say that they probably just blow.

Admittedly, though, they have a great fucking band name

fucking loved moonmen - really liked the Immaculates too - i didn't like the guy who brought his newborn baby to a mobbed party where people were smoking pot and falling over though :(

Purposely rolling on the floor and getting your clothes dirty is disrespectful to your laundry cleaner.

7:23am - I was smoking pot and falling over so you must be talking about me :) I had Great fuc*ing night. I loved Hunters and The Immaculates had me shaking my booty too. Necking was intense and Moon Man was funny. I got a kick out of the random shit the girl was saying..

just to add - I wasn't falling over from the Pot.. It was a combo of PBR and Jaeger
