Soundgarden at Irving Plaza in November (more by Dana (distortion) Yavin)
Soundgarden

As mentioned before, Soundgarden play Terminal 5 on Wednesday (1/16), their first of three NYC shows this month. The T5 show is part of the American Express Concert Series and was the first time where "cardmembers used AmEx's card sync technology for pre-sale ticket access." Like their other two shows, T5 is sold out. If you didn't get tickets but would still like to go, we're giving away a pair (courtesy of American Express). Details on how to enter are below.

Video of Soundgarden playing Jimmy Kimmell Live back in November is below...

^3 sold out shows no one cares about them

2:49 tickets were $15 face tons of people bought to make money. Tickets still going 50% over face even at $22 a piece which is the cheapest on Stubhub currently!

Tix including the charges were $22, so they're actually going for cost. That said, this drove down the value of the Hammerstein shows. I have friends who overpaid and aren't happy. ...suckers

Terminal 5 sucks

Posted by Anonymous | January 15, 2013 3:27 PM

Hammerstein prices will drop

They are as good as ever which means they blow away just about every newer band around.

3rd most annoying voice in music. 2nd? Billy Corgan. First? Why Thom Yorke of course.

T5 sucks

They were so boring at Jones Beach a few years ago, no desire to see them since.

503 Why don't you enlighten us on who your favorite rock singers are!

set times?

Posted by Anonymous | January 15, 2013 6:18 PM

anon 5:44 Boring? Do you even like them? Maybe it was the venue. I wouldn't go see them in a seated venue. They were awesome in Newark (GA up front) last year and at Irving Plaza.

I dont know much about sound gardens, but on my fire escape I have a makeshift chickpea garden.

Posted by Anonymous | January 15, 2013 11:26 PM

I bet Poison Ivy lives there, huh? Hee hee.

Posted by Anonymous | January 15, 2013 11:50 PM

I'd rather pay more and see them at Hammerstein...

I thought they were great at Jones Beach, and Jones Beach is a shit venue. Looking forward to tonight.

Just got back from T5. That place has the worst sound in NYC. The show was good but not nearly as good as Newark last year.

Posted by Anonymous | January 17, 2013 12:30 AM

^setlist was awesome though! Dusty! Fresh Tendrils! Head Down!

Posted by Anonymous | January 17, 2013 7:50 AM

The sound was fine, get over yourself

Posted by Anonymous | January 17, 2013 8:44 AM

Did they get on at 8??

Posted by Anonymous | January 17, 2013 9:31 AM

Anyone who says the sound at T5 is not good is either standing by the bar under the mezzanine or has not been there in years...FACT!

Solution...Get there early!

You're Welcome
