Django Django

In their quest to release every song off their debut LP as a single of some form, Django Django just released the video for "Hand of Man." The clip, shot on black and white Super 8 film, was directed by John MacLean who is the older brother of DD drummer Dave Maclean and a former member of The Beta Band. (Maclean won a 2012 BAFTA for his short film Pitch Black Heist, starring Michael Fassbender.) It's a pretty trippy clip and you can watch it below (via Nowness).

Django Django are touring this Spring, including two night in NYC at Music Hall of Williamsburg.

Well that explains why they sound like a ripoff of the Beta Band.

I love the gigantic tambourine that makes an appearance in every video.
