True story: I ran into the singer of Freelance Whales outside a restaurant. I approached him to congratulate him on the success of his band. He basically ignored my pleasantries and got right down to business, giving me a sales pitch for their album (i.e. "it's $15 for a CD + poster, $20 for CD + poster + shirt"). It was pathetic and turned me off to them. So much so that I didn't even illegally download their new album as I was planning.
