DOWNLOAD: Amason - Margins (MP3)

Amason's first live show, Stockholm 2/2/2013 (via)

What do you do when you're friends and your various bands are in states of downtime? Form a supergroup, or supergruppen in the case of Swedish band Amason which features the talents of Pontus Winnberg of Miike Snow, Gustaf Ejstes of Dungen, Nils Törnqvist and Petter Winnberg of Little Majorette and Amanda Hollingby Idiot Wind.

Amason are brand new, having just played their first-ever live show on Saturday (2/2) in Stockholm, but they have released their first song, titled "Margins." Pulled along by a warm, flutely synth lead, it's all dreamy '70s soft rock, not that far from, say, The Carpenters. You can download it above or stream it below.
