Passion Pit

"Boston show is postponed until Sun 2/10 due to snow. All tickets will be honored & refunds available at point of purchase. MSG is still on." - Passion Pit
Good luck to all those venturing out!

Icona Pop are on at 8pm. Then Matt & Kim. Then Passion Pit's (probably) biggest show of their career!

And check out our list of NYC shows that are cancelled.

This is great news. Quoting from my comment in the today thread

"Crossing my fingers that Passion Pit does not get cancelled. Also crossing my fingers that the roof of MSG collapses and destroys all the idiots who actually paid to go to that shit."

Posted by Anonymous | February 8, 2013 6:03 PM

Why is this band playing MSG?

Posted by Anonymous | February 8, 2013 6:03 PM

why is this band playing msg? why is this show not cancelled?

Posted by Anonymous | February 8, 2013 6:29 PM

6:03(1) - And rest assured that you sound just as cold and idiotic in this thread as you did in the other thread.

Posted by Anonymous | February 8, 2013 6:30 PM

^says the dumb pathetic Passion Pit fan

Posted by Anonymous | February 8, 2013 6:42 PM

Why does every band who attains a little amount of success need to jump into arena shows? This band could pack a few nights at Radio City but their egos are leading them to an undersold, half-empty Garden.

Posted by Anonymous | February 8, 2013 7:04 PM

Take a walk take a walk take a walk

Posted by Anonymous | February 8, 2013 7:21 PM

They actually sold it out lol damn

Posted by Anonymous | February 8, 2013 7:37 PM

I do believe I know why Santa is smiling amirite?

Posted by Anonymous | February 8, 2013 7:57 PM

"They actually sold it out lol damn"

Yeah sure they did and I have some lovely scenic property to sell you in Iraq. Dumb ass believing Bowery Presents bullshit. So many cheap tickets were flying around. They gave this show to the scalpers who got screwed

Posted by Anonymous | February 8, 2013 8:18 PM

^cheapest on Stub hub was $30...and fyi I didn't even bother to look on Craigs list but $30 is not giving them away...$5 is

Posted by Anonymous | February 8, 2013 9:00 PM

"^cheapest on Stub hub was $30...and fyi I didn't even bother to look on Craigs list but $30 is not giving them away...$5 is"

Under face is giving em away schmuck and if you had bothered to look on Craigs List you would have seen them going for even cheaper.

Posted by Anonymous | February 8, 2013 9:15 PM

6:03(1) & 6:42 - Actually no...I'm not a fan of this band and wouldn't know their songs if I tripped over them. I just don't think jokes about wishing for mass death are funny.

Posted by Anonymous | February 8, 2013 9:36 PM

9:15 wow you obviously don't understand. If I can buy the tickets at the box office for $39 before the show and perhaps I sell mine for $30 on stub hub max I'm losing is $15 so really giving these away! Smart guy must have majored in Econ! Let me tell ya a little secret! If you went on stub hub you can see how much tickets sold for in what section and for how much but you didn't do any research and sound like an uninformed moron! Good work!

Posted by Anonymous | February 8, 2013 10:36 PM

This band should be smacked for not cancelling this show. Complete disregard for their fans.

Posted by Anonymous | February 8, 2013 10:36 PM

So 9:15 they were going for under $5? Really?

Posted by Anonymous | February 8, 2013 10:38 PM

Was a little rude not to reschedule as most mass transit in and out of the city was not running on any sort of schedule

Posted by Anonymous | February 8, 2013 10:40 PM

10:36-Who gives a shit how much you lose on the ticket. A loss is a loss and yes a 15 dollar loss is giving that away. Ask any real scalper how they feel about losing 15 bucks on a ticket. Actually you could not really give them away as there were plenty more sellers than takers for this piece of shit show. You are correct though, I never looked on Stub Hub. Only fools buy tickets off Stub Hub, Trying to gauge what tickets are going for using Stub Hub is the height of idiocy.

Bottom line. This was not a sold out show by any means and cheap tickets under face could be had easily in all locations in the venue.

Now please fuck off.

Looking for a quick laugh? Read through all the complaints on the Bowery Presents Facebook page.

Posted by Anonymous | February 8, 2013 11:00 PM

1057 stub hub is a better judge then Craigslist that is idiocy if you go by Craigslist! Stub hub is actually completed sales if you going on the selling page!

Posted by Anonymous | February 8, 2013 11:02 PM

^You keep buying on Stub Hub, Please do. I will keep buying off Craigs List and getting cheaper tickets than you.

Posted by Anonymous | February 8, 2013 11:22 PM

hope everyone is safe after this. imagine the guilt.f

Posted by asap cock | February 8, 2013 11:28 PM

i was at the show, it was actually completely packed

Posted by Anonymous | February 9, 2013 12:11 AM

Sure it was

Posted by Anonymous | February 9, 2013 12:15 AM

man, those were some passionate complaints at the bowery presents facebook page. They should have been asking for refunds though, not for the show to be canceled. Whether the show is canceled or not should not matter to them. Whether they can get a refund for not being able to go is what should matter

Posted by Anonymous | February 9, 2013 2:14 AM

@2:14, no you're an idiot. of course once people realize they have no chance of going they'd like their money back, but ultimately the complaint is that so many people would like to actually SEE the show and that's not possible but if it was postponed, it would be.

Posted by Anonymous | February 9, 2013 3:21 AM

Is #Nemo going to be playing at Finding tonight?

Posted by Anonymous | February 9, 2013 3:41 AM

I bought a ticket, and I didn't go to the show due to the weather. I'm just happy that PP, Matt, and Kim got my money. They are the best because they really know how to rock the house! All you haters that complain are just losers I hope you don't get a refund.

Posted by Anonymous | February 9, 2013 4:39 AM

Wow! Passion Pit and Matt & Kim together? Who needs waterboarding? Just make someone sit through that combo! At MSG no less! Wow, how horrible.

Posted by Anonymous | February 9, 2013 5:01 AM

1122 Craig's list is a pain! I rather get 25% off then have to meet some random stranger on the street to save 50% stub hub at least is a secure transaction and its instantaneous with our the bs!

Posted by Anonymous | February 9, 2013 8:29 AM

I just don't see Passion Pit as being strong enough performaers to be able to carry an arena crowd. Much better in a club or a theater. I'd hate to be one of those people sitting in the top tier, all the way in the back. Unless they invested in video screens, this had to suck.
Anyone who was there have any feedback from last night's show?

Posted by Anonymous | February 9, 2013 8:34 AM

I was there and got a blow job in GA

Posted by Matt & Kim | February 9, 2013 10:28 AM

That's a passion pit!

Posted by Anonymous | February 9, 2013 10:37 AM

From the BP facebook page

"Just be warned....I am much older and wizer and c00ler than you Bowery....and you can tell Mr. Passion Pit that he has disappointed many people."

Posted by Anonymous | February 9, 2013 11:09 AM

A BJ in GA is A-OK.

Posted by Anonymous | February 9, 2013 11:56 AM

I lubed Hummus in BV's passion pit.

Posted by Anonymous | February 9, 2013 1:26 PM

Guys blowing other guys in the GA area at a Passion Pit concert.

Yes that sounds about right

Posted by Anonymous | February 9, 2013 2:18 PM

At the show place was packed... late crowd though

Posted by Anonymous | February 9, 2013 2:47 PM

Thank you 2:47 for confirming that there are tons of idiots out there with terrible taste in music.

Posted by Anonymous | February 9, 2013 2:59 PM

WHO?

Posted by Anonymous | February 9, 2013 3:08 PM

I was there and all you pussys who couldn't get through 3 inches of snow are worthless. Was this snow the snowstorm that hit Boston? No, it was a snowstorm that just did a dusting. Great show you losers!!

Posted by Anonymous | February 9, 2013 3:50 PM

I hope someone farted in the pit last night... repeatedly.

Posted by Anonymous | February 9, 2013 4:07 PM

Ahem 3:50, do you really think you should be crowing like that? You do realize you went to see Passion Pit, right? They suck and most people on this blog know this and are not jealous of you. Probably pity is more like it. Maybe you should head over to a blog where they get excited over crap like this and Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga.

Posted by Anonymous | February 9, 2013 4:37 PM

Lady gaga is way better then passion pit

Posted by Anonymous | February 9, 2013 5:00 PM

@ 5:00. They both are horrible.

Posted by Anonymous | February 9, 2013 5:16 PM

5:16- so is your grammar

Posted by Anonymous | February 9, 2013 6:15 PM

It is kind of crazy people could throw down a hundred to two hundred dollars and get fucked like that. They should have at least live-streamed the show. At the least.

Can't put a shitty Cam up for the Connecticut and Long Island kids?

Posted by h | February 9, 2013 6:25 PM

Posted by Anonymous | February 9, 2013 8:17 PM

I love this snow because you idiots can't find me and the Passion Pit show was fun you fuckwads.

Posted by Dorner | February 9, 2013 9:18 PM

Word is Dorner left the West Coast for a Sleepyhead encore. Had a scalped ticket and some sensitive cries.

Posted by Anonymous | February 9, 2013 9:57 PM

packed show and they pulled it off too.

Posted by Anonymous | February 11, 2013 12:11 AM

Packed, huh? That would mean that 20,000 people showed up to see Passion Pit play a basketball arena in a blizzard.
Ok, yeah.

Posted by Anonymous | February 11, 2013 1:23 AM

It's 2013. Anything can happen. The world ended last year. Piece.
