Quirky alt-rockers Presidents of the United States of America will be heading out on a tour this year playing their 1995 self titled debut (you know, the one with "Peaches" and "Lump") in its entirety. A larger tour announcement is on the way, but the band have already revealed some Northeast dates, including two in the NYC area: April 13 at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park and April 15 at Irving Plaza. Support at these shows awesomely comes from modern day indie rockers Eternal Summers. Tickets for the Stone Pony show go on sale Sunday (2/10) at 10 AM and tickets for the Irving show go on Live Nation/Live Nation Mobile App/Music Geeks presales Friday (2/8) at 10 AM with a general on-sale starting Saturday (2/9) at 10 AM.

1995 was such an awesome year! OKC Bombing, Sarin attack in Japan, OJ found innocent, and "Peaches" on my radio. It's gonna be great to re-live all of that.

Bashing this because I like to be at a Pains of Being Pure At Heart show with my arms folded like a too-cool-for-school hip boy instead. That's the only REAL way to dig music properly.
