Psychic Ills

Psychic Ills rang in the New Year at Saint Vitus, and the Brooklyn crew will take on Bowery Ballroom tonight as part of a record release celebration with White Hills and Prince Rupert's Drops. Tickets are still available or you can try your luck at winning a few pairs AND a copy of the new LP on vinyl! Details on how to enter are below alongside all upcoming dates; NYC will serve as the tour kick-off show.

If you can't make the show, pre-order your copy of the LP via the Sacred Bones store (it's out 2/19), who are also holding preorders for the new Lust for Youth and the new LP from The Men. Lust for Youth recently released the title track to stream from that 12". Check that out below along with a Psychic Ills video flyer and all updated dates/contest details.

I liked them the first time around, when they were Royal Trux.

For real. Whoever the fuck is their tour manager ... they deserve a raise. Good God that is one damn tour.

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2013 10:57 PM

9:56 PM They work their ass off in a steel factory, building roads, school teachers, hospital? or in another pop culture band.

Posted by Anonymous | February 8, 2013 2:42 AM

they are gonna fall apart after this tour... this band does this over and over again.

Posted by Anonymous | February 8, 2013 8:25 AM

9:56 is right on.

Hard working band who work jobs and probably don't have a tour manager.
I know you dum dums like to throw cheap trash and every band, but psychic ills don't really sound like or look like or jack anything at all like Royal Trux (except the one backup vocal from NMH.)

Is it me, or does it sound like that Lust For Youth track was recorded in a garbage can.

Posted by Anonymous | February 8, 2013 1:05 PM

10:57 A booking agent sets up the tour Captain Dickholis. The tour manager just manages a band with day to day stuff while on the tour, dumb, dumb. That dude looks like Paul Rudd's son!!
