The Melvins ready 'Everybody Loves Sausage' covers LP

In a possible nod to the BrooklynVegan readers (doubt it), Melvins have announced their new LP Everybody Loves Sausage. The long-player is a collection of covers that range from Venom to Roxy Music and features guest appearances from Scott Kelly (Neurosis), JG Thirwell, Jello Biafra and more. Check out the tracklisting and a stream of their cover of The Fugs' "Carpe Diem" below.

Perhaps it means that it is comprised of a lot of different bits and pieces, you know, like sausages. Little bit of this and that. Either way, the cover art is adorable. Reminds me of a children's book. <3 Melvins

5:24 - evidently you are dumb enough not to know that the composers of any of the above songs are not really what's important. The performers are the ones cited in the release. Ram Jam played Black Betty in the 70's. That's the one The Melvins are covering. Shit head.
