Ben Harper and Charlie Musselwhite are playing Beacon Theatre on May 3. Tickets for that show go on sale today at 10 AM.

As mentioned, Thom Yorke and Nigel Godrich are doing an Atoms for Peace DJ set in NYC on March 14. When we first mentioned the show, the venue was TBA, and we now know it's happening at Le Poisson Rouge.

Ticketmaster broke when I pushed the checkout button for my 2 floor tickets. Now sold out. Bitches.

Posted by Anonymous | February 8, 2013 10:15 AM

ticketmaster is having a lot of issues today. Ad servers not loading pages.

Also, if consumers are able to choose a seat on an airplane, why can't ticketmaster let buyers to choose seats at an arena or theater?

Posted by Anonymous | February 8, 2013 10:16 AM

10:15 - look for a confirmation email in a couple minutes. that's what happened to me too but my order went through.

Posted by Anonymous | February 8, 2013 10:35 AM

I can't believe people are clamoring to see postal service at barclays.

"I can't believe people are clamoring to see postal service at barclays."

It's like you're in my head.

Posted by Anonymous | February 8, 2013 10:46 AM

10:35 there is no way you will be paying $5 for the Barclay's shows! First off Stub hub has a minimum $5 fee so add that to your.99 cent ticket. It will cost you at least $6 so don't be so sly!

Posted by Anonymous | February 8, 2013 10:58 AM

postal service should do two dates at Irving..that is appropriate

Posted by Anonymous | February 8, 2013 10:58 AM

Postal Service will end up doing a super small show to sell this one out. As will the National. Did I buy tickets today? Yeah. But I know I'll be able to get rid of these as I did the National to some jerk off on StubHub who doesn't think.

Big fucking deal you got a GA Postal Service ticket. No one cares and it is nothing to go on about. This is not a big in demand show you dumb motherfucker. Postal Service in the big Barclays Center is going to suck so bad. When they announce the small show which will actually be difficult to get tickets for, then let's see how you do.

Posted by Anonymous | February 9, 2013 2:42 PM

wow, such anger...

Posted by Anonymous | February 9, 2013 2:55 PM

Lmfao the people on this site are so pathetic I swear it has to be a joke sometimes.

Posted by Anonymous | February 9, 2013 3:59 PM

Also don't hold your breath on that smaller show. This one is almost, and I use this term lightly, "sold out". And might not need that push you all are hung up on.

Posted by Anonymous | February 9, 2013 4:00 PM

Another "know it all" at 3:59/4pm. Look in the mirror before you call anyone else pathetic. This show is not even remotely close to being sold out. Not even lightly. There will be a smaller show coming. But enjoy this piece of shit show. They are gonna sound "ahhhhmazing" in a giant arena.

Fucking dumbass.

Posted by Anonymous | February 9, 2013 4:33 PM

Just to add that in the chance that the smaller show does not happen, tickets for this will be very easy to get right before the show. Less than face value as well. So for those waiting for the smaller show it is a win win.

Posted by Anonymous | February 9, 2013 4:39 PM

People waiting for the "small show" keep waiting... And why would a small show help a large show sell more tickets? And good luck to the guy who got a GA ticket when ticketmaster was only selling two hundred level seats... And why are we so wrapped up about people who just want to have a good time?

Posted by Anonymous | February 10, 2013 8:00 AM

^You obviously have no clue as to the concert ticket game.

Posted by Anonymous | February 10, 2013 9:49 AM

To answer your question and not be a pretentious fuck 8:00, a smaller show helps sell tickets to a larger show because if they were to play a tiny venue that the majority of people got shut out of it creates a false sense of exclusivity. The idea is that people who were shut out of the small show will suck it up and buy tickets to the Barclays show.
