I'd do this.

how many tix will actually be available? not many. how many will be outlandishly priced? all of them

Posted by Anonymous | February 28, 2013 9:57 AM

oh man this is gonna be expensive but great

Posted by Anonymous | February 28, 2013 9:57 AM

Shut up you idiot 9:57. There will be plenty of tickets available. Will they be extremely hard to get and expensive? Yes. Figure best seats around $200

Posted by Anonymous | February 28, 2013 9:59 AM

4 ticket limit

Petty's slow transformation into Skeletor is nearly complete.

Posted by Anonymous | February 28, 2013 10:09 AM

can they just tell us which night they're gonna play the hits so we know which one to get tickets for?

10:14 screw the hits heard them before..give me some hard promises and damn the torpedos stuff!

Posted by Anonymous | February 28, 2013 10:47 AM

@10:47 That's why they should announce which will be the hits show and which will be the deep cuts show. Then everybody gets what they want...

Posted by Anonymous | February 28, 2013 10:51 AM

^Im game...but who says the shows would have themes?

Posted by Anonymous | February 28, 2013 10:56 AM

No telling at this point. He's basically been playing the same setlist every night for the past 3 years, but you'd hope they'd mix it up for a 5- or 6-night residency.

Posted by Anonymous | February 28, 2013 11:26 AM

Saratoga Springs price range is $52 to $147 (including fees).

Posted by Anonymous | February 28, 2013 11:40 AM

He's getting too old. They should get that kid Ryan Lee from Super 8 to play him!

Posted by Anonymous | February 28, 2013 12:26 PM

this is kick ass any way you look at it....

11:26 is correct about his set lists.... basically he comes out and hits your in the head with 4-5 monster hits... does what he wants (read: not the hits) for 4-5 tunes... then kills it for the remainder.... problem is i have seen him lose the crowd with the lull in the middle

Posted by Anonymous | February 28, 2013 1:16 PM

the dude from the Postman?

Posted by Anonymous | February 28, 2013 1:35 PM

So happy (that I'll be on a beach during this over the hill clown's run)

Posted by Anonymous | February 28, 2013 2:59 PM

116 That's pretty sad when a major artist "loses the crowd" for 4-5 tunes. Are they music fans or just casual listeners in their khakis? It sucks when you go to shows and all most people know are the hits. Why bother paying all that loot for tix?

The 5 song subset from the new Mojo album was tough for many to take.

Never really got these guys. Ok middle of the road rock. I've never seen them live except for that sleep inducing SB Halftime a few years back.

I don't know about The Bats, but I bet I can find a band in this post that could fit the name The Fats amirite two way radios

"can they just tell us which night they're gonna play the hits so we know which one to get tickets for?"

He has about 100 hits so you're good to go. I prefer the more obscure stuff.

This is a good venue. Not as good as when he played that dump Irving Plaza back in '99 was it ? But beats the heck out of a stadium show, which I don't like much anymore. Playing that tired Fill Moon Fever crap while 20,000 people that can't sing, try. Give me some Long After Dark for a change. Pretty please.

I hate reading all these negative post or "lets just hear the hits" post I am a true Petty Fan! I know every word to every song! What really sucks is that because I am not rich I can't attend and all you fake fans are going and don't even like the music!

You don't have to be rich to afford a 74 dollar ticket. I have a shitty job and I'm still going.

Posted by Anonymous | April 9, 2013 9:59 PM

You people that said he is to old go to help he is the best so what if he has the same set list
