Tyler the Creator

Tyler, the Creator said he would release his new album, Wolf, back in 2012 but didn't, and now he's saying it will come out on April 2 via Odd Future Records, and the first video from the album will premiere tonight at midnight EST on Odd Future's site. The cover art above is one of three covers for the album, including one designed by Mark Ryden. The other two are below.

Tyler also just announced a tour which hits NYC on March 23 at Music Hall of Williamsburg and as is always the case for Odd Future shows, tickets are already on sale, so act quick.

UPDATE: The video is out now. Watch it below.

A list of all dates and the other two album covers below...

Ugh another year of this.

Posted by Anonymous | February 14, 2013 3:18 PM

I like when artists play venues 1/3 of the appropriate size, and I can get tickets.

Posted by Anonymous | February 14, 2013 3:20 PM

Mark Ryden only did one cover. the painting.

Posted by Anonymous | February 14, 2013 3:22 PM

Odd Future are on their way out. This would have been at a much bigger venue a year ago.

Posted by Anonymous | February 14, 2013 3:25 PM

what would steve albini say

Posted by Anonymous | February 14, 2013 3:25 PM

they're hardly on their way out.

especially considering one member of their collective just won multiple grammys....

and, the most anticipated one, Earl, is dropping a release this year.

Posted by Anonymous | February 14, 2013 3:27 PM

@327 is right. the 'hype' is on its way out, but they aren't - the big 3 (frank, earl, tyler) were always very talented.

the rest of the crew (mike g, domo, taco, etc.) was just hanging on, they won't last.

Posted by Anonymous | February 14, 2013 3:30 PM

how much can i scalp these for? 200 a ticket? man it's going to feel GOOD to rip off tyler the creator fans, pony up the cash 16 yr olds

Posted by Anonymous | February 14, 2013 3:33 PM

Say what you will about him but these tickets are $30 and Kendrick Lamar's (at a much larger venue) were $70+

Posted by Anonymous | February 14, 2013 3:37 PM

The $70 thing was kind of annoying for Kendrick, but I was really pissed when he added an earlier show on the same day. When that happens, it always just seems like a cash-grab, and I feel like they're going to phone-in each show no matter what, since they know they need to save energy.

Posted by Anonymous | February 14, 2013 3:40 PM

@3:30 just referred to members of Odd Future as "The Big 3"

Posted by Anonymous | February 14, 2013 3:44 PM

3:44 I'm pretty sure he was referring to them as "the big 3 (members of odd future)" - doesn't seem hard to understand, at all. In the least. Also makes perfect sense.

And you're an ass. Also that.

Over hyped talentless savage

Posted by Anonymous | February 14, 2013 4:12 PM

the only member of this "crew" that has any hope for a career, b/c he's actually talented, is frank ocean. the rest of these clowns are just young punks who are fucking lucky that they were ever associated with frank. no one will remember these ass hats in a couple years.

Posted by Anonymous | February 14, 2013 4:12 PM

@412 funny, 'yonkers' was released digitally exactly a couple of years ago. people still seem to remember him. and i think i remember you saying the same thing in 2010.

Posted by Anonymous | February 14, 2013 4:18 PM

Haha. That is some fucked up routing. His originally booking agent knew how to pace
and book Odd Future. William Morris fucking ass dicks, sorry. Yeah you got your TV show
right or something (I'm not a SoCal skate
punk teenager, so I don't really relate to this) but man this is some poorly booked shit. Hope it's a bad experience for you.

Posted by Anonymous | February 14, 2013 4:46 PM

Posted by Anonymous | February 14, 2013 4:51 PM

@425 how is this a BV fail? bv was one of the first to have the post up, when tickets were readily available

Posted by Anonymous | February 14, 2013 5:14 PM

If I were young and stupid, I still wouldn't like this troglodyte.

Posted by Anonymous | February 14, 2013 5:24 PM

@5:14 hahahahahahh

kendrick, this clown, and frank ocean are so over-hyped it's unbearable.

Posted by Anonymous | February 14, 2013 5:26 PM

5:24 troglodyte - an awesome word

Posted by Anonymous | February 14, 2013 5:37 PM

5:14 - don't worry, you'll get your chance too.

Posted by Anonymous | February 14, 2013 5:38 PM

4:12 is right. This shit is stale now. No one cares. The only relevant part if this was Frank Ocean. Next!
