Screaming Females @ MHOW 2/9/2013 (more by Caroline Harrison)
Screaming Females

As mentioned, Screaming Females have a new cassette titled Chalk Tape which just came out on Don Giovanni. (Order it here.) The band, who just played Music Hall of Williamsburg as part of the Don Giovanni fest, have made a video for one of Chalk Tape's tracks, "Poison Arrow."

In it a group of ladies from the New Brunswick Fine Arts Collective conspire to fix the annual Screaming Females Art Open. Whether they're successful or not can be seen in the Kate Sweeney-directed clip below...

How much is this band paying BV to make sure they're on here at least twice a week?

The song doesn't have the edge their earlier stuff had. Too bad, but I guess it happens to every band. The video looks like it was produced by Tim & Eric.
