This actually looks really good and chances are it will be better than all the movies going up for Academy Awards this year.

Looks alright. Pacino's acting these days is almost a parody of itself.

Oh cool, another update on this movie. I haven't heard anything about it in a whole day.

The interesting part of Spector's life was when he was revolutionizing popular music and pioneering studio techniques. This looks like a tabloid-esque episode of Law and Order, with the Pacino overacting as usual.

you looking at me?

Agreed 12:44. This looks way over dramatized like most of HBO's movies. Over acted, lacking substance and having very little truth with reference to the actual events.

All the above comments reflect that people are seeing Al Pacino and not Phil Spector-if you want to experience Phil Spector and live what happened that night in the castle. Check out:www.Philspectorincident.com

The most important question here is who's going to portray the UK band Starsailor?

This is being done by Mamet so I bet 75% of the movie takes place in that trial rehearsal room toward the end of that trailer.

and 75% of the dialogue will be curse words cuz he curses a lot

Everyone is talking about how outlandish Al Pacino is in the Spector role, but they should be talking about the perceptive understated protrayal of Solomon King in the hot indie movie you can stream now! www.philspectorincident.com
