Posted by bill p | February 2, 2013 9:23 AM

Ty is God, yes. You should be expecting a very loud, violent, awesome show with shredding and constant crowd surfing.

Webster Hall sucks.

Yo bv, you should get at chris weingarten about hosting the paper thin walls archives. That was some great content right there, bud.

thanks for the info on ty segall. anyone have set times from last night? ex cult and k holes worth going for?

Posted by Anonymous | February 2, 2013 12:42 PM

01 am PARQUET COURTS
12 am Purling Hiss
11 pm La Big Vic
10 pm Alan Watts

Posted by Anonymous | February 2, 2013 12:54 PM

Set times will be different at Music Hall because Webster had that early curfew for the nightclub crowd.
Ty played for slightly less than an hour.
Ex-Cult was pretty good, worth going early to see. K-Holes weren't on the bill last night, Mac DeMarco played instead.

my bloody valentine live at my house. doors open yesterday

Posted by Anonymous | February 2, 2013 5:43 PM

To those asking about ex-cult and k-holes:

Why not just go anyway? You might end up seeing some awesome bands live you wouldn't have seen otherwise, or the worst case scenario is they suck and you hang out at the bar for a bit.

Well, I guess the WORST case scenario is one of the opening bands takes out guns and shoots everybody but come on, what's the odds of THAT happening?

Posted by Anonymous | February 2, 2013 5:46 PM

If my math is correct,

Ty Segall @ Music Hall > Ty Segall @ Webster Hall

which reduces to

Music > Webster.
