Tame Impala, who play tonight at Terminal 5, made an appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night, performing "Elephant." watch that below.

Sure the Unwound reissues are sexy and exciting, but Justin Trosper and Brandt Sandeno have another project up their sleeve as well. Enter Survival Knife, who will release a debut 7" via Sub Pop on March 5. Check out the b-side from that single, "Name That Tune," below.

Is it too early to drop this acid for the tame impala show?

Too late.

Posted by Anonymous | February 19, 2013 7:22 PM

remember tame impala is all ages, be careful doing drugs around the minors

hey silent barn, it's been almost 2 months and still no permits? i mean i like art and noise as much as the other guy but at some point i'd like to sip a beer while in the process no?

Armisen show was a waste of time. I'm one of the suckers who paid to watch dull YouTube videos mixed in with unremarkable musical performances. Occasi

I usually am the first one to rail on T5 for sucking but last night the sound was great! Very balanced no complaints...good job t5!

Posted by Anonymous | February 20, 2013 7:53 AM

^ congrats on your first actual show in person at T5. now if you can stop acting like an ass because everyone else is, you may just turn into a normal person after all.

Yo 8:35... FUCK YOU

Posted by Anonymous | February 20, 2013 8:40 AM

8:35 Probably my 30th show at T5..I hate T5 but the bands I like play there so I usually just suck it up...last night though the sound was screw you jack-ass

Posted by Anonymous | February 20, 2013 9:25 AM

the best play to be at T5 is in the central, elevated vip area with the other ballers, but most of you wouldn't know about that

Posted by Anonymous | February 20, 2013 9:30 AM

Ha 8:35 the gig is up. T5 has its moments. Don't be so stupid as to think things could never improve at T5. I'm sure you got better as time went on with your girlfriend or maybe you still suck like the first time and you never improve..I guess it is possible.

Posted by Anonymous | February 20, 2013 9:37 AM

^wowza..8:35 got burned...crushed like the cockroach that he is!

Posted by Kevin O'leary | February 20, 2013 9:41 AM

9:35 -- there is no such thing as "the central, elevated vip area" at T5. It's always stage right, 2nd level. Behind the separator door, in the curtained part is the highest vip. The chair and tabled area on stage right 2nd level is regular, joe-shmo VIP.

True baller, you are wrong. If it has been removed, I'm not aware of it, as I don't frequent the place.

On the second (third?) floor, adjacent to the bar on the side, there is an entrance to a platform that hangs just below that floor's level, with standing room and some cushioned bench seating. It is/was the best location in the venue.

11:02. -- that's the foh sound engineer perch. The only other people there are the engineer's girlfriend and the always cheesey lighting director. No dancing allowed there --- too many cables and precautions. Also, there's no free booze in that spot.

Posted by Anonymous | February 20, 2013 11:07 AM

11:07 - years ago it was different. I danced and drank to my heart's content, and there was nary an engineer or a cable in sight. Just ballers and beautiful babies.
