Damn! Pretty impressive. How far is this from NYC?

Posted by Anonymous | February 14, 2013 6:38 PM

It's about a 4 hour drive north

Posted by Anonymous | February 14, 2013 6:41 PM

Great lineup.

Posted by Anonymous | February 14, 2013 6:43 PM

this is pretty fucking awesome

Posted by Anonymous | February 14, 2013 6:50 PM

Nothing you ever need NYC to see.

Posted by Anonymous | February 14, 2013 7:35 PM

wait, are you all serious? this is a good lineup? snoooooozer

Posted by Anonymous | February 14, 2013 7:49 PM

Wilco!

Posted by Anonymous | February 14, 2013 7:51 PM

Wilco plays multiple nights here and can't sell the shows out, so they... have a pseudo-festival?

Posted by Anonymous | February 14, 2013 8:31 PM

Pseudo-festival?

Stay home then. We won't miss you.

Posted by Anonymous | February 14, 2013 9:17 PM

This is the first concert in the US by the Dream Syndicate in something like 25 years.

Posted by Anonymous | February 14, 2013 9:26 PM

damn good lineup. shit.

Posted by Anonymous | February 14, 2013 10:06 PM

You had me at Mark Mulcahy. I could see how some may call this a snoozer, but I can dig.

7;:49 - I pasted your comment in every other string on BV. You're welcome.

This festival gives Park Slope-types raging boners.

Posted by Anonymous | February 14, 2013 10:47 PM

Story pirates. Tweedy. WNYC pseudo-intellectuals. Massholes. Dreadful.

Posted by Anonymous | February 14, 2013 11:07 PM

The 2012 RNC had more ethnic and artistic diversity than the lineup and audience for this fest.

SO there I am, spreading my asshole apart and trying to shit on this girl's face, when all of a sudden I realize, I don't have any toilet paper LOL

Posted by Anonymous | February 15, 2013 2:36 AM

You don't need toilet paper. Use a gun instead. Aim it at your head and pull the trigger. Problem solved.

Posted by Anonymous | February 15, 2013 3:39 AM

It's an OK lineup. It's definitely not "awesome" or "great" or even "impressive". A few bright spots, but overall last years ATP blows this out of the water (pun intended).

Real men love to hear Link say "solid"

Posted by Anonymous | February 15, 2013 7:26 AM

Have you guys ever heard of Foxygen?

Posted by Anonymous | February 15, 2013 8:43 AM

I guess it's fine if you're already in MA.

Posted by Anonymous | February 15, 2013 8:43 AM

This would seem a lot less boring if Wilco took themselves off the bill. Or at least got a hologram Jay Bennett.

Posted by Anonymous | February 15, 2013 9:05 AM

MMW, White Denim, Yo La Tengo, Os Mutantes, and Dream Syndicate.....thats pretty awesome.

Posted by Anonymous | February 15, 2013 9:49 AM

^when is the last time you saw Wilco live 2000? Get with the times their live show is pretty slick these days.

Posted by Anonymous | February 15, 2013 9:50 AM

the one thing this festival surely features is actual musicians with real legitimate musicianship

Posted by Anonymous | February 15, 2013 10:30 AM

There will be many white people at this show.

Posted by Anonymous | February 15, 2013 12:02 PM

^same as a Jay-Z show so whats your point?

Posted by Anonymous | February 15, 2013 12:11 PM

^^spot on. I didn't realize having the diversity of a UN meeting was a requirement for seeing good music. And this lineup blows away ATP and is refreshingly filled with actual musicians who are skilled at playing music and not sitting on carpets turning knobs and pushing buttons.

Posted by Anonymous | February 15, 2013 12:35 PM

@9:05. Nels Cline is a far more dynamic guitarist than Jay Bennett. Keep you're head up though you're only about 10 years out touch with the band.

Posted by Anonymous | February 15, 2013 12:42 PM

Why would someone want to have kept up with Wilco for the past 10 years? They shot their load with YHF, now they're just a jam band for bearded beta male nerds.

Posted by Anonymous | February 15, 2013 1:01 PM

^that is the stupidest thing I ever heard

Posted by Anonymous | February 15, 2013 1:22 PM

^ In spite of what Pitchfork is feeding you they're still a far more exciting and dynamic live band with the addition of Nels. And Ghost is as good as YHF if not better especially the live versions of the songs.

Posted by Anonymous | February 15, 2013 1:27 PM

Last 2 albums have been half crap

Posted by Anonymous | February 15, 2013 1:28 PM

As a Caucasian bearded beta male nerd who likes pushing buttons and turning knobs, jam bands, and actual musicianship I think there is only one question remaining. Will they serve hummus?

This lineup is stellar!

Posted by Anonymous | February 15, 2013 2:32 PM

Here's how it is:

YHF>Summerteeth>The Whole Love>Being There>A Ghost is Born>Sky Blue Sky>AM

Posted by Anonymous | February 16, 2013 12:54 AM

"YHF>Summerteeth>The Whole Love>Being There>A Ghost is Born>Sky Blue Sky>AM"

Love Wilco, but can't stand YHF. They were trying too hard to be Radiohead. Plus some terrible lyrics. "I assassin down the avenue" WTF?

Posted by Anonymous | February 16, 2013 1:28 AM

what do you think grimes is doing right. now.

Posted by Anonymous | February 16, 2013 1:34 AM

Nothing you ever need NYC to see.
