Black Francis at LPR in 2011 (more by Adam Siegel)
Onetime Pixies frontman Black Francis recently went on a tour with collaborator Reid Paley that hit the NYC area back in February for a Maxwell's show. Now Black Francis has more dates scheduled, including one happening in NYC on May 17 at Symphony Space (2537 Broadway) in the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre, and Reid Paley is opening that one too. He'll be playing "an evening of solo acoustic songs spanning his career." Tickets for that show are on sale now.
