After Conor Oberst brought his old band, Desaparecidos, through NYC last Tuesday (2/26) for a show at Wester Hall on their tour with Joyce Manor and Thursday/Rival Schools-related project States & Kingdoms, they stuck around to play the venue again the next night. Their setlist was the same as the previous night, including the entirety of their only album, Read Music/Speak Spanish, the band's new singles, and covers of Joyce Manor's "Constant Headache" (joined by members of the band) and The Clash's "Spanish Bombs."
More pictures of all three bands and Desaparecidos' setlist from night 2 below...

Remember when Bob Mould played two great shows last week and BV didn't cover it at all? That makes no sense at all.

So people here think a bad Fugazi rip off is better and more relevant than Bob Mould? Conor Oberst probably wishes he were Bob Mould.

5:43 and I'd say you are around 18-19 years old, living in your mom's house still and have never felt the touch of a woman. You are clearly a moron. Just go take your shit taste and go kill yourself.

How is Bob Mould washed up? He was in possibly the best American band ever, highly influential to, among others, Conor Oberst, has consistently made good solo albums (the new album is really, really good), and still puts on a good, energetic live performance. I get it that some of the younger people who post here might not be into him or Husker Du, but, no way he is washed up and obviously people care about him. I bet Conor Oberst cares about him.

I love Bob Mould and I saw him play last week, but honestly, who gives a flying fuck what anyone cares about him? Let the teenagers have their Bright Eyes.
Enjoy whoever you want and go to whatever show you want - or don't. But stop bitching that BV didn't cover your favorite band and instead covered someone else. It's pathetic.
